Police appeals for help to locate woman Janet Brune

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Coburg North woman Janet Brune.

The 76-year-old was last seen when she left her Glyndon Avenue home about 7.30am.

Police and family have concerns for Janet's welfare as her disapperance is out of charcter and she has Alzheimer's.

Investigators have released an image of Janet in the hope that someone may have information on her current whereabouts.

She is described as about 167cm tall with a slim build and short brown hair which is greying.

She is known to frequent St Francis' Church in Melbourne's CBD.

Anyone who sees Janet is urged to contact Fawkner Police Station on 9355 6000.
