Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Bulla this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Bulla Road about 2.55pm after reports there had been a head on crash between two cars.
The female driver of a Mazda, believed to be in her 50s, died at the scene.
The male driver of a Hyundai sedan, believed to be in his 70s, was taken to hospital with injuries.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined and Bulla Road will be closed while it is investigated.
