Police are responding to fatal crash at Felixstow

A man has died after a crash at Felixstow.

Just before 10.30pm on Sunday 29 October, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Ashleigh Avenue and Payneham Road after reports that a car had crashed into a fence.

The driver, an 86-year-old Campbelltown man died at the scene.

His passenger, a 79-year-old Campbelltown woman was not injured.

Major Crash officers attended the scene to examine the circumstances of the crash.

The driver may have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.

His death is the 94th life lost on South Australian roads this year, compared to 58 at this time last year.
