Police are responding to fatal crash at Beatrice

Police are investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic crash at Beatrice in the Tablelands.

Between 11am on Wednesday March 7 and 8.45am today a 30-year-old driving south along Old Palmerston Highway, lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway on a corner.

The crash occurred about 300m north of the intersection with Maalan Road. The man was found deceased at the scene.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed anything or was in the area between 11am yesterday and 8.45am this morning to contact police.
