A woman has died following a crash in Sydney's south-west.
About 6pm yesterday (Wednesday 8 October 2025), emergency services were called to Park Road, Auburn, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command attended and found a Toyota SUV had collided with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian – an 84-year-old woman – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for serious injuries and transported to hospital in a critical condition.
Police were informed the woman has since died.
The driver of the SUV – a 19-year-old woman – was uninjured. She was taken to Auburn Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
