A man has died following a crash on the state's south coast overnight.
About 3.30am (Thursday 18 June 2020), emergency services were called to the Princes Highway at Bewong after a B-double truck and a Hyundai van collided.
The driver of the van died at the scene. He has not yet been formally identified.
The driver of the truck was not injured but has been taken to hospital to undergo mandatory tests.
Officers from South Coast Police District remain at the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The Princes Highway is closed in both directions in the area.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
