A woman has died after a crash in Glen Waverley last night.
It is believed a Holden Captiva struck a curb and hit a tree on Glen Tower Drive just after 7pm.
The male driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital under police guard.
The female passenger sustained critical injuries and died in hospital.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined at this stage.
