Bendigo Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash in Lockwood South this morning.
It is believed a white utility was travelling along Bendigo-Maldon Road when it crashed into a tree at the intersection of Hewletts Road about 6.10am.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man could not be revived and sadly died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
