A man has died following a single vehicle crash on the state's mid north coast overnight.
Shortly after 11pm (Thursday 3 June 2021), police were conducting patrols along Hat Head Road, Kinchela – about 70km north of Port Macquarie – when they have located a Nissan Navara off the roadway and impacted with several trees.
Officers then located a 31-year-old male driver – and sole occupant of the vehicle – deceased inside.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries have commenced into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
