Police are responding to fatal crash, Morayfield

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a man has died in a crash in Morayfield tonight.

Preliminary inquires indicate at 9.10pm two men were travelling east on Caboolture River Road on an unregistered motorcycle when they have collided with a 4WD that was stationary on Kenneth Street waiting to turn into Caboolture River Road.

The pillion passenger, a 32-year-old Caboolture South man, died at the scene.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old Caboolture South man, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who saw the motorcycle prior to the crash or has relevant dashcam or CCTV vision to contact police.
