Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Near Glen Innes

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the state's Northern Tablelands region.

About 4.50pm yesterday (Thursday 18 September 2025), emergency services were called to Strathbogie Road, Emmaville, about 26km north west of Glen Innes, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to New England Police District attended and located a man unresponsive inside a ute that appeared to have left the roadway and hit a number of trees.

The 82-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics but he could not be revived.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
