Police are responding to fatal crash, Plainland

A motorcycle rider has died following a two vehicle crash on the Warrego Highway at Plainland this morning, December 8.

Initial investigations indicate around 6.30am the rider was travelling west when the bike has collided with a truck headed in the same direction.

The rider of the bike, a 43-year-old St Ruth man died at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
