Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Rouse Hill

A man has died after being struck by a bus in Sydney's north west earlier this week.

About 12pm on Wednesday (6 August 2025), emergency services were called to NW Transit Way, Rouse Hill, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command attended and found a bus had struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian – a 54-year-old man – was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital.

The driver of the bus was uninjured.

Police commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

About 10pm on Thursday (7 August 2025), police were informed the pedestrian had died in hospital.

Police will now prepare a report for the coroner.

Inquiries into the crash are ongoing.
