A woman has died in a crash in the state's southern region.
About 3.20pm today (Sunday 30 November 2025), emergency services were called to the Hume Highway, Sutton Forest, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to The Hume Police District attended and found a car and a truck had collided.
The driver of the car – a woman believed to be aged in her 70s – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, but died at the scene.
She is yet to be formally identified.
A passenger in the car – a 66-year-old woman – was treated at the scene before being flown to Liverpool Hospital.
The driver of the truck – a 31-year-old man – was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident, with assistance from officers attached to the Crash Investgiation Unit.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
