Northern Territory Police attended a single-vehicle crash in Ti Tree this afternoon, which a 72-year-old man died.
A passing motorist came upon the scene on the Stuart Highway around 2:20pm, and attempted to render assistance to the driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Territory Duty Superintendent Peter Dash said, "Police and paramedics attended, however the man died at the scene."
The crash is now under investigation and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
