Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Wagga Wagga

A man has died following a crash in the state's south.

About 8.10am today (Tuesday 30 December 2025), emergency services were called to the Sturt Highway, just past the intersection of Gormans Road, Wagga Wagga, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District attended and found a black SUV had collided with a parked truck.

The driver and sole occupant of the SUV – a man believed to be aged in his 50s - died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances of the crash has commenced.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
