A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a fatal crash east of Wilcannia last night.
About 8.30pm (Wednesday 25 September 2019), a Toyota Landcruiser was travelling east on the Barrier Highway about 8km east of Wilcannia when the vehicle left the road and rolled a number of times.
The driver and sole occupant, a 57-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Officers from Barrier Police District attended and established a crime scene. The Barrier Highway was closed for several hours, reopening at 4am.
