Police are at the scene of a serious crash at Darlington.
Just after 6.30am today (Wednesday 21 July), patrols and emergency services were called to Main South Road after reports that a motorcycle rider had crashed.
The rider was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Major Crash officers are attending the scene.
Road closures are in place for southbound traffic at Seacombe Road, and please avoid the area if possible.
