Police are responding to serious crash at Miranda, South Australia

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash at Miranda, south of Port Augusta.

About 6.15am Friday 14 January emergency services were called to the Augusta Highway after reports a truck had left the road and crashed into a tree. The driver and sole occupant has been extracted from the cabin and is being taken to hospital with serious injuries.

There are currently no road closures; however please take care if you are passing that area this morning as emergency services remain at the scene.
