Police are responding to serious crash at Bumbunga, South Australia

Police are at the scene of a serious crash on the Augusta Highway at Bumbunga.

Just before 6.30am on Saturday 5 October, police and emergency services were called to the Augusta Highway at Bumbunga in relation to a single vehicle crash.

Numerous emergency service vehicles are in attendance. The Augusta Highway is closed to all traffic between Snowtown and Lochiel. Traffic is being diverted through Ninnes and Bute for light vehicles. All heavy vehicles will be held on the highway until it re-opens. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
