Police are responding to serious crash - Willalooka south of Keith, South Australia

The Riddoch Highway in the State's South-East is currently closed to all traffic following a serious crash near Willalooka.

Just after 10.30pm on Friday 3 December, a Holden 4WD travelling south on the Riddoch Highway, left the road and rolled, then caught fire about 5kms south of Willalooka ( about 35kms south of Keith)

One person from the vehicle received critical injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

Major Crash Investigators have attended and are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The Riddoch Highway is currently closed to all traffic around the crash site between Keith and Rowney Road just south of Willalooka, please used an alternative route. The highway is expected to remain closed until about 9am
