Police arrest five after Camperdown warrant

Detectives from Warrnambool Crime Investigation Unit have arrested five people following a spate of recent burglaries in the Camperdown area.

Officers were investigating burglaries which had occurred in Manifold Street, Hamilton Street and Church Street along with other locations over the past few weeks.

Information lead them to executing a warrant at an address in Longmore Street, Camperdown about 11am on Thursday 4 November.

Officers seized a plethora of property including ebikes, clothing, tools, electrical goods and a stone gargoyle.

A 37-year-old man, a 39-year-old man, a 31-year-old woman, a 41-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were arrested at the address and have been charged and remanded to appear at Warrnambool Magistrates' Court on Friday 5 November.
