Police arrest man after domestic-related stabbing - Moorebank

A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed in Sydney's south west this morning.

Emergency services were called to a home on Stockton Avenue, Moorebank, just after 7am (Sunday 1 December 2019), following reports a man had been stabbed.

Police from Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and found an 80-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest.

He was taken to Liverpool Hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics in a stable condition.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Liverpool Police Station, where he is assisting officers with their inquiries.

The men are known to each other.
