A man has been arrested after an extended follow in an allegedly stolen vehicle this morning.
Police allegedly spotted the vehicle driving erratically on Warragul Road in Camberwell about 3am.
With assistance from the Air Wing, police followed the car through Mount Waverley and Glen Waverley.
The male driver allegedly dumped the vehicle on Denise Court in Mount Waverley and fled the scene on foot.
The 38-year-old Ashburton man was arrested a short time later.
He is assisting police with their enquiries.
