Police have arrested a man following a stabbing in Melbourne on 11 January.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of King and Little Bourke streets following reports of an altercation at a licensed premises about 2.40am.
A man believed to be in his late teens, who is yet to be formally identified, was located on King Street with multiple stab wounds.
He died at the scene.
A 19-year-old man was arrested shortly after in Aurora Lane.
He is expected to be interviewed.
It is believed the parties are known to one another.
A crime scene has established and the investigation remains ongoing.
King Street is currently closed between Bourke and Lonsdale streets.
