Police arrest man after fatal stabbing of woman - Berala

Police have arrested a man after reports a woman was fatally stabbed in Sydney's west today.

Just before 10am (Monday 11 November 2019) officers from the Auburn Police Area Command responded to reports of a stabbing at a home on Harrow Road, Berala.

Police arrived at the address to find a woman suffering multiple stab wounds.

She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.

Police have established a crime scene and have conveyed a man to Auburn Police Station.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

It is believed the incident is domestic-related.

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information or dash cam vision of the incident to come forward and contact police or Crime Stoppers.
