Police arrest man after low speed pursuit through Sydney's south west

A man is in custody after a police pursuit through south-western Sydney.

Around 1.30pm (Monday 3 June 2019), police were travelling west on Milperra Road at Milperra when they saw a white utility with false number plates.

The utility driver did not stop when directed to do so.

A low-speed pursuit began and travelled through Liverpool, Casula, Moorebank, Wetherill Park and Edensor Park .

During the pursuit, a police vehicle and the utility collided. There no were no reports of injury.

Road spikes were deployed and the utility eventually stopped outside Fairfield Hospital where the man was arrested.

The man was taken to Liverpool Police Station. Inquiries are continuing
