Police arrest man for dangerous driving at Eden Hills, South Australia

A man was arrested after driving erratically at Eden Hills this afternoon.

Police received numerous calls from the public reporting that a white Mitsubishi Pajero was driving erratically in the Blackwood and Eden Hills area about 12.45pm on Saturday 26 September.

Patrols and traffic officers searched the area for the vehicle, which was spotted entering a dead-end street of Roseberry Avenue, Eden Hills. The Pajero collided with a parked Hyundai sedan and continued driving.

Police managed to successfully spike the four wheel drive's tyres on Shepherds Hill Road but the vehicle continued to drive, heading into Ashmore Road.

Police searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Ben and quickly located the alleged driver.

Both vehicles, the Pajero and Hyundai, were towed from the scene.

The arrested man, aged 46 years from the State's Far North, is expected to be charged with numerous driving offences.
