Police arrest man for indecent exposure to children

Police have charged a man who exposed himself to children twice in two days while riding a pushbike past a school on the state’s far north coast.

After police were alerted, officers from Tweed/Byron Local Area Command commenced an investigation into two alleged incidents happened outside a Kingscliff school on April 29 and April 30.

Police say they arrested the man near the entrance of the public school on Orient Street on May 4.

The 19-year-old was taken to Tweed Heads Police Station where he was charged with two counts of wilful and obscene exposure.

The local man was given conditional bail to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday 25 May 2015.
