A man has been arrested following an investigation into an alleged sexual touching in Sydney's inner west last night.
Shortly after 9pm on Thursday 23 April 2026, police were called to a business on Glebe Point Road, Glebe, following reports of a sexual touching.
Officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.
Police were told a 51-year-old woman was allegedly inappropriately touched by a man who worked at the store.
Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 71-year-old man at (location) about 1.30pm today (Friday 24 April 2026).
He was taken to Newtown Police Station where inquiries continue.
