Police have arrested two men after they allegedly stole a bobcat from Torrensville overnight.
Just after 11pm on Thursday 4 February, patrols were called to Torrens Street, after reports of people loading a bobcat onto a trailer which was hitched to a Holden utility before driving off.
Police located the utility a short time later on South Road at Angle Park with two occupants. Further enquiries led patrols to the intersection of North Parade and West Street, Torrensville, where the bobcat was located.
The driver, a 58-year-old Campbelltown man was charged with illegal use, drive disqualified, unregistered and uninsured while his passenger, a 25-year-old man from Valley View was charged with illegal use. Both men have been bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 9 March.
