Police arrest pair after Windsor drug warrant

Caulfield Divisional Response Unit investigators arrested a man and a woman after a search in Windsor on 19 November.

Police executed a warrant on a Punt Road house about 7am.

Investigators allegedly seized substances believed to be methyl amphetamine and butanediol, a large quantity of cash, jewellery, computer devices and a conducted energy device.

Two vehicles including a BMW X3 and an Audi Q7 were also seized.

A 50-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman from the address were arrested.

The man was charged with 14 offences, including traffick a commercial quantity of methyl amphetamine, traffick 1, 4-Butanediol, possessing the proceeds of crime and possess prohibited weapon.

He will appear later this evening before the Melbourne Magistrates Court.

The woman was charged with 16 offences, traffick a commercial quantity of methyl amphetamine, traffick 1, 4-Butanediol, possessing the proceeds of crime, possess prohibited weapon and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.

She will appear later this evening before the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
