NT Police have arrested three males in relation to a vehicle that was stolen in Alice Springs on Friday.
Around 7:25pm on 13 June, police received a report that three male youths had approached a woman outside her residence in Gillen and threatened her, before assaulting her and stealing the keys to her vehicle.
The three youths fled in the vehicle and were tracked by police as they were sighted driving around Alice Springs. A coordinated response involving multiple police units established a roving cordon of the vehicle, which was subsequently located abandoned.
The three male youths aged 12, 13 and 14 were arrested nearby and taken into custody. They were dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 2005.
The vehicle was seized for forensic analysis as part of ongoing investigations.
