Police have arrested a teenage boy after a carjacking in Springvale on 16 March.
The aggravated carjacking took place on Lightwood Road about 5.30pm.
It's alleged the teen assaulted a 70-year-old woman who was seated inside her Honda Jazz, before stealing the vehicle.
Officers from the Southern Metro Region Crime Team arrested the Berwick teen about 10.45am on Boyd Street, Dandenong North.
The 17-year-old continues to assist police with their enquiries including an aggravated burglary in Kooyong on 15 March.
