Police arrest teens after Stonnington robberies

Five teens have been arrested following two robberies in the Stonnington area on the weekend.

Detectives from Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit and Southern Metro Regional Crime Team executed four search warrants today in Albion, Aberfeldie and Wyndham Vale, arresting four people.

The warrants were in relation to a robbery at a business on Chapel Street Prahran and a business on Glenferrie Road Malvern on 4 May.

A large amount of clothing and mobile phones are alleged to have been stolen.

Police arrested a 16-year-old Albion boy, a 16-year-old Aberfeldie boy and two 16-year-old Wyndham Vale boys.

All four have been charged with two counts of robbery and have been remanded to appear in a children's court at a later date.

A fifth boy was arrested on 6 May and charged with two counts of robbery.

The 16-year-old Deer Park boy was bailed to appear in a children's court at a later date.
