Police arrest three after thousands of dollars in baby formula located

Brunswick Uniform police have arrested three people after uncovering a large quantity of allegedly stolen baby formula in Abbotsford on Tuesday morning (6 April).

The officers executed search warrants at an address on Victoria Street, Abbotsford and a second address on Montrose Street, Hawthorn East about 11.30am.

Police located baby formula and vitamins with an estimated value of $50,000.

Police also located $10,000 worth of wine and a large quantity of cash.

A 37-year-old man from South Melbourne was charged with seven counts of theft seven counts of commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He appeared at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 6 April.

A 44-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from Hawthorn East, were released pending summons.
