Just before 4am on Tuesday 27 September police were called to a chemist on Beach Road after people were seen to smash the window and entered the premises.
The intruders were then seen to leave the business in a Ford Sedan.
Patrols were quickly in the area and spotted the suspect vehicle on Dyson Road, where it was followed onto the Southern Expressway.
