Two men have been arrested following a brawl at Yennora early this morning.
Just after midnight (Wednesday 23 December 2020), emergency services were called to a park off Orchardleigh Street, Yennora, following reports a man had been injured.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and were told a group of people were gathered at the park before a fight occurred.
During the incident, a 19-year-old man sustained a wound to his lower back.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for minor injuries.
Shortly after, officers located two men at a home on Wentworth Parade, Yennora.
Following further inquiries, police arrested a 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old man and took them to Fairfield Police Station.
The younger man was charged with affray and armed with intent, while the older man was also charged with affray.
Inquiries are continuing.
