Police arrest two people after stabbing - Hinchinbrook

A man and a young person have been arrested following the stabbing of a man at Hinchinbrook last night.

About 9.45pm (Tuesday 24 March 2020), emergency services were called to the corner of Flinders Crescent and Wilson Road after reports a man had been stabbed.

On arrival officers found a 28-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his abdomen and shoulder.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Investigations commenced at the scene by officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command resulting in the arrest of two males nearby.

The pair, aged 17 and 19, were taken to Liverpool Police Station where they are currently assisting with inquiries.
