NT Police have arrested two male youths in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Alice Springs yesterday.
Around 9:40am this morning, the Nissan Navara the youths allegedly stole early this morning from Tennant Creek was tracked by police travelling north near Mataranka. Strike Force Trident and the Dog Operations Unit deployed, and a pursuit was initiated north of Adelaide River.
Tyre deflation devices were successfully deployed, and the stolen motor vehicle was recovered.
The two male offenders, aged 14 and 15, were arrested and remain in police custody.
Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact police on 131 444.
