Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a crash at Chain of Ponds, according to SA Police.
Just after 8.30am police were called to Tippett Road after reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
Initial reports indicate the motorcycle rider has suffered serious injuries and his motorcycle caught fire as a result of the collision.
Tippet Road between Sunninghill and Newman Road is closed to all traffic travelling in both direction and is being diverted along Gorge Road.
Avoid the area while emergency services are on scene.
