Police are calling for witnesses over a deliberately lit fire at Rocherlea on Tuesday 23 January 2018.
Detective First Class Constable Jarrod Lightfoot said that the fire was believed to have been separate to a series of fires in Rocherlea on Monday 22 January 2018, for which two youths had already been summonsed.
"We’re seeking members of the public to come forward in relation to any information regarding the fire that occurred in Rocherlea on the 23 January 2018 between approximately 3:00pm – 4:00pm," Det Constable Lightfoot said.
"The fires were burning close to the water towers off Reservoir Road.
"An unidentified man riding a blue quad bike was seen in the area approximately 10 minutes prior to the fires starting."
Anyone with information should contact Launceston CIB on 131444 or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers, Tasmania Police say.
