Police call for witnesses to motorcycle crash - Church Street at Rokeby

Police attended a motorcycle crash at Church Street, Rokeby, at around 3:20pm this afternoon.

The rider of a red and black Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle was injured in the crash and was treated by Ambulance Tasmania at the scene, before being conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Tasmania Police Crash Investigation Services also attended the scene. Church Street and North Parade, Rokeby were closed for approximately 1 hour while police conducted investigations.

These investigations are ongoing, and police would like to speak to any persons who may have witnessed the crash or witnessed the manner of riding, prior to the crash.
