Police Charge Driver After Fatal Crash - Oran Park

A man has been charged over a fatal crash in Sydney's south west last month.

About 7am on Monday 22 September 2025, emergency services responded to reports that a man had been hit by a car on Peter Brock Drive, Oran Park.

It will be alleged that a white Toyota Hilux was parked unattended in lane one on Peter Brock Drive facing east bound when it was side swiped by a grey sedan – driven by a 53-year-old woman - travelling in lane two that stopped a short time later.

The owner of the vehicle – a 60-year-old man – was nearby at the time of the impact and is believed to have walked to the offside of the Hilux to inspect the damage when he was struck by a white Holden Commodore travelling in lane two being driven by a 19-year-old man.

The older man died prior to the arrival of emergency services.

The driver of the of the Holden – who was uninjured – was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established and later examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.

Following extensive inquiries, the 19-year-old man was today (Thursday 16 October 2025) served with a Future Court Attendance Notice for dangerous driving occasioning death-drive manner dangerous and negligent driving (occasioning death).

He is due to appear at Picton Local Court on Thursday 27 November 2025.

His P2 provisional drivers' licence has also been suspended.
