Police Charge Four After Robbery, Goodna

Police have charged four teenage boys following a stealing with violence incident in Goodna early Saturday morning, 4 July.

Just before 1am, officers were called to a train station on Woogaroo Street following reports a man in his 30s had been assaulted and had his phone and wallet stolen by a group of males.

Police tracked the alleged offenders to a train station in Darra where officers took four teenagers, aged 18, 17, 15 and 14, into custody.

Following further investigations, officers charged an 18-year-old Sherwood man with one count of robbery in company using personal violence.

He is due to reappear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on 22 July.

A 15-year-old Redbank Plains boy has also been charged with one count of robbery in company.

He is due to reappear in Ipswich Children's Court on 7 July.

A 14-year-old Redbank boy and 17-year-old Augustine Heights boy have both been charged with one count each of robbery in company.

Both boys are due to appear in Ipswich Children's Court on Monday, 6 July.

The male victim sustained minor injuries and had his possessions returned.

Investigations remain ongoing.
