A man has been charged with murder following the death of another man in Box Hill on Thursday.
Homicide Squad detectives have charged the 47-year-old with one count of murder.
The charge follows an altercation and alleged shooting at an address on Whitehorse Road on 9 April about 1.50am.
A 32-year-old man died at the scene.
The 47-year-old Bonnie Brook man was arrested, along with another 47-year-old man from the same suburb and a 27-year-old Maryborough woman Thursday evening.
The second Bonnie Brook man and the woman have been released pending further enquiries.
The man charged will appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court Friday evening where detectives will seek his remand.
Police are treating the incident as targeted.
