Police charge man after cocaine and cash seized - Strike Force Raptor

A Schofields man will face court today charged following an investigation by Strike Force Raptor into a criminal group involved in drug supply and public acts of violence.

Last year, Strike Force Raptor commenced an investigation into the criminal activities of a gang with links to Western Sydney and correctional facilities across NSW.

As part of ongoing inquiries, Strike Force Raptor executed a search warrant at a home at Deguara Street, Schofields about 9.15am yesterday (Wednesday 10 February 2021).

Cash, jewellery, clothing, shoes and a white powder believed to be cocaine we located and seized for forensic examination.

About 8.25pm, detectives arrested a 19-year-old man at Riverstone Police Station and charged him with supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime, knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime intent to conceal and deal with property proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court today (Thursday 11 February 2021).
