Police charge man after Collins Street CBD burglary

Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man after a burglary in Melbourne Friday morning.

Officers from the Critical Incident Response team responded swiftly and arrested the man after the burglary on a designer store on Collins Street, 25 March around 2.30am.

The 36-year-old Melbourne man has been charged with 14 offences, including aggravated burglary, burglary, thefts, possessing a controlled weapon, obtaining property by deception and bail offences.

He has been held over to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court later this morning.
