Homicide Squad detectives have this afternoon charged a man with murder following the death of a woman in Darley on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to an address in Egan Court about 10.30pm on Saturday 28 May.
On arrival police found a 67-year-old woman with critical injuries, she could not be revived and died at the scene.
The 20-year-old man from Darley will appear via video link at Melbourne Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
The parties involved were known to each other.
