Police have charged a man following a stabbing in Melbourne yesterday.
It is alleged an altercation between two men took place at a licensed premises on King Street about 2.40am
A 19-year-old Mentone man was allegedly located on King Street with multiple stab wounds.
He died at the scene.
A second 19-year-old man also from Mentone was arrested shortly after in Aurora Lane.
He was charged with one count of murder and remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
It is alleged the parties are known to one another.
